Key objectives of the role will be to set up a strong engineering team with a modern pro-active approach, effectively supporting a fast-paced production business where machine down time costs money. With this in mind the successful applicant will have budget responsibility, a track record of delivering world class maintenance solutions and while developing their people, empowering them to challenge the status quo ensuring business profitability. The senior role of Engineering Manager is pivotal to the company successfully delivering its business objectives. The job holder will have to be extremely proactive, have extensive problem solving experience and be experienced in World Class manufacturing environments. In addition they will possess an engineering degree and be compliant with all current legislation and hold all relevant engineering qualifications. Working Monday-Friday days you will need to be flexible around the business needs and on occasions support engineering functions on other sites in the locality.
